We were really excited when Willow Maurice joined at{mine} a few months ago.  Willow’s style is minimal, but also very Nordic. In her home she mixes black and white with shades of grey, but she can also do sweet and girly. Her daughter’s pink room is the complete opposite and of course it’s still just as fabulous as the rest of the home!  As a stylist, Willow’s home is forever changing, so we really enjoy her frequent uploads. She’s sharing some future plans with us and also some styling tips, so keep reading!

Feng shui and conscious living

The principles of feng shui conscious living - Purodeco

The at{mine} community is a treasure trove of creative talent, and we love to discover the various skills and trades of our members. Today we’re taking a deep dive into the philosophy of Feng Shui with our member Live Johansen. The founder of Norway based Purodeco and Purodeco Feng Shui, Live is an interior architect and a certified feng shui consultant. For several years she has taken a great interest in the Eastern Philosophy plus has a black belt in Taekwondo!

As an interior architect Live wanted to make a difference, and give the interior design a deeper meaning. The more she read about green interior design and how to create healthy spaces, the more she saw that everything seemed to align with the classic feng shui principles.

Grab a cup of tea to discover how arranging our homes can positively affect the energy flow in our lives. Check out how Live uses feng shui in her own home, and get some basic tips to create good feng shui in your bedroom (the most important room in the home!).

Si from French by Design

About Si At Mine French by Design

You would be forgiven to think that penning one of the top 5 blogs in interior design rankings worldwide and working with design 24/7 would make a style snob out of anyone. Not so with Si however. The San Francisco based blogger behind French by Design is all about authenticity – something we can relate to so well as that’s just what at{mine} is about. And to top it off she’s just about the coolest, funnest and nicest person you can imagine. So imagine our joy when Si agreed to run a bi-weekly blog series entirely dedicated to real interiors found on at{mine}.

The series will feature anything from plant shelfies, over pets on furniture, to inspiration around a certain room or colour and full house tours. Catch Si’s eye by following her on at{mine} and adding #MineByDesign in the comments to your images, and your home might just be the star of her next post!

We caught up with Si to chat blogging, style, and life.
