Function+Form at Heal’s

November has been a month of gatherings as pretty tables were set around the globe for our #StyleAtMine challenge. A very special gathering was the inaugural Function+Form event by our #StyleAtMine co-hosts and at{mine} founding members Annie & Tiff (catch our earlier interview with them here).

The stunningly beautiful happening was held earlier this month at our member Heal’s in London. We caught up with the duo to reflect on the event and what they and their guests took away from it.

Interview: Annie & Tiff from Function+Form

at{mine} founding members Annie Kruse and Tiffany Grant-Riley got to know each other through at{mine} when we had our very first community event – then still in invite-only beta – at{West Elm} a little over a year ago. Now they have joined forces to create Function+Form, a series of collaborative gatherings that combine informal dining with handcrafted design, which we are proud to support. The inaugural gathering is taking place at{Heal’s} later this month.

We caught up with Tiffany, an interior stylist and the blogger behind Curate & Display, and Annie, a graphic designer, creative mind behind the Stylejuicer blog and founder of kids label Wild Boys & Girls. We also invited both to style a table setting for November’s #StyleAtMine challenge, using products by our brand partner, iconic British cook ware label Falcon Enamel.

The winning ‘Plants & Art’ styling by Helga de Waal

What a month it has been. We’ve seen a wonderful influx of green images in a wide variety of interpretations of our Plants & Art #StyleAtMine collaboration with Urban Jungle Bloggers.  Plants were popping up everywhere – in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms even; on desks, shelves, hanging, grouped together or styled into a piece of art in its own right. See some of our favourites below, and dive into our Urban Jungle category for the full scope.

Judith from Urban Jungle Bloggers had the hardest time picking the winning entry, but finally settled on the gorgeous composition of Helga de Waal of JT Design blog for its sculptural plant, beautiful art print and cute kitty cat! Congratulations Helga, you’ll receive a beautiful botanical art print of your choice by My Deer Art Shop!
